Party Rock is in the House Tonight

This is Chris's masterful Jeep car cake that he made. We were both going to make one and somehow I knew his would turn out better than mine. My little yellow car wasn't too bad for a first timer, but his Jeep blew little yellow out of the water. He must get it from his Grandma!

Here are the cupcakes for the rest of the guests. I (along with my Mom's knowledge of Word) made up these little "Route 1" cupcake toppers. Thanks to Sherry for making the cupcakes!
Here's our little man walking. He's a full out walking machine now. He started taking steps at 10 or 11 months and has slowly progressed to walking much more than crawling now. He hasn't mastered being able to stand without a prop, but he'll get there soon enough. Thankfully, he hasn't learned to run yet. My hands get a little moist just thinking about it. I guess we'll find out how baby proofed the house really is here soon.

Here's Mitchell wrestling with his cousin Kade. He kept attacking him over and over again! It was so funny to watch! At first it looks like he's trying to kiss him but he tackles him to the ground. Silly kid.
Down they go!

Presents! After almost all of his presents, he would say, "WOW!!!" He used to whisper it but now he can yell it (kind of like he did today, Easter Sunday, after a solo musical number. "WOW! WOW! WOOOWWW!!" We'll have to teach him to make his compliments a little more reverent in church.)
He wanted nothing to do with his cake at first. I tried to feed it to him on a fork, ate it myself, and tried to feed him just frosting but he wanted nothing to do with it! He later touched it and played with it a little bit, but still didn't want to eat. He did eat a cupcake though. I don't konw if it was because it was a car or because everyone was watching or what. Who knows, but it's his party...he can cry if he wants to.
Here he is doing one of his favorite things, driving his cars.
It was a great party! Thanks to all who came!
