Now he can.....
- Scoot! It's a two armed army crawl. He can get from one end of the Living Room to the other pretty quickly if he wants something bad enough. He gets up on all fours and rocks back and forth and last night I helped moved his arms and legs to simulate crawling. After that he tried it but could only go backwards! ha He did go forward just a little bit. I was pretty suprised. Baby proofing here we come!
- He's still waving but in the last few days he's started to wave by opening and closing his hand. We didn't actively teach him this....he just stared doing it! He had a terrible time going to sleep last night. I would rock him for 10 mins and put him in bed and he'd wake back up. I walked out and let him cry for a few minutes and came back in. He was so happy that he waved to me both ways. I was frustrated before but that made me start to laugh and remember how precious our time together is.
- I'm pretty sure he doesn't know that he's saying Mama but he sure sounds like it! In fact, a couple nights ago he woke up for his normal 5:30/6:30 feeding and he didn't cry. I heard "Ma! Mama! Mom! Mamama!! then he got louder. It was so funny because it was really like he was yelling for me.
- Oh! Kisses. How could I forget kisses. It's so sweet I tell him to give his stuffed animals or toys kisses and he leans forward with his mouth kind of open. He does it to us too, but I think it's a game when I ask him to give me a kiss and he looks away and just smiles. When I come home from work or something, sometimes he'll kiss me without asking. So sweet!
- He's never really learned how to roll from his tummy to his back. Oh well.
- He reacts if you ask him if he's hungry or if he wants a bottle....especially if he's really hungry. It's cool to see that he's starting to understand us a little bit.
As always, I love him like crazy!
