It seems like Mitchell has developed so much in this last month! Here's some things he can do now!
- Take his bottle, put it into his mouth and hold it for the whole feeding.
- Sit up! He loves to sit and he's gotten really good at balancing and catching himself. He still falls but not super often.
- He just barely this week started to wave. It's not big and he takes some coaxing but he waves!
- He started eating baby food! We started with squash and he did not like it. I started to add cinnamon to it and then he liked it. Now I think that it was just different. Now he eats almost everything we give to him. His favorites seem to be bananas (real ones) and carrots. He does not like apple juice. We've tried it several times but each time he crunches up his face.
-No more nursing. He rejected it like 3 nights in a row so I decided that was it for us. Every time he would reach for his bottle and would keep detaching when we nursed just at night. I saw it coming so it wasn't too devastating.
- He reaches out if he sees you coming to get him out of his exersaucer or his carseat. He's so urgent and excited about it. Get me, get me, get me, Mom!! Get me out! Mom! Mom! Get me get me get me! I love it.
I'm sure I'll think of more as soon as I end this post but for now that's our Mitchell!
