Fixing a Newlywed Mistake

This bed was probably one of the most unwise purchases we've ever made (besides our brand spankin new car. We love love our car, but 2 months after we bought it, it got a foot long scratch on the side of the door and immediately lost it's resale value....that is, even more than when we drove it off the lot...buy new to you used, not new to you and the rest of the world, you sucker you). Anyways.... we were getting married, needed a matress and saw a sign on a telephone pole (should have been indication numero uno) that a lady sold matresses wholesale. We checked it out and went through the many isles of beds displayed in her barn (barn should have been indication numero dos). We figured we were getting a good deal and paid around $250 for it and the box springs. About 5-6 months later, it looked like this.

Permanent dips and crevices where we sleep. It was so uncomfortable and with being 8 months pregnant, it was just down right painful with the loose ligaments and lower back pain. So, with the approaching tax rebate, we decided to take the plunge and buy a matress....from an actual matress store. Chris did some research and now our lovely bed looks like this.....

no divets!! My back feels a lot better, too. The first few steps out of bed for my nightly trips to the restroom aren't so painful and I can stand up straight without moaning or wincing! (I'm almost to the point where I'm excited not to be pregnant anymore...the other part of me is still freaking out about actually having a baby and having responsibility for HIM for...oh I don't know...ETERNITY!)
Notice how my incredibly mature husband is trying to sabotage my picture taking by diving onto the bed. Notice how I anticipated this and took the picture quickly so that his plans were thwarted. Muwahahahaha. We have fun at about a 6th grade level around our house...but it keeps things entertaining.
Today I noticed someone else enjoying the new matress...and the sunshine.
