Mitchell's First Christmas

On Christmas Eve Eve, we let Mitchell open his first present. I wanted to see and catch it all on camera before we got together with the family. He got this little turtle from us. You push down the part in his mouth and it rolls and plays music. It also wags it's little turtle tail! I picked it out and it was so fun to see him play with it!
We read the Christmas story from the Bible on Christmas Eve. It was interesting to try and entertain Mitchell while Chris read and wondering if he felt the Spirit of Christmas. One of my favorite part of Christmas was when we put up the tree after Thanksgiving and I held Mitch while Chris put the star on the tree. I told Mitchell that the star represented the North Star that the Shephards followed to find Jesus and that we try to follow and find Jesus today. I am so grateful for the gospel that we can teach to Mitchell.
