Mitchell's favorite new thing is to try to shove his fists in his mouth and chomp away. He does this usually when he's hungry or when he's tired and wants his pacifier.

Love his little body! The baby body is the best (and yet the most undesired by us adults); huge belly, chubby cheeks, bald spot on the back of the head, flat little squishy booties, etc. It's pretty cute when you're a baby but not so much as a grown up.
Some other things Mitchell can do at 11 weeks old:
- Coo's rather loudly with a range of tones and noises including a "g" gurggling sound
- Smiles from ear to ear, especially directly after waking up from a nap or during the night.
- The beginning of laughing but not there yet.
- Likes bath time but screams while we're putting his clothes on. I wondered if it was because he hated to be cold so I warm his towel in the dryer (one reason I love that the laundry room is upstairs) but he still cries.
- When he's falling asleep he loves to have something in his hand. Usually it's my shirt or his blanket
- He loves to be glued to the TV. He'll cock his head so far in order to see it.
- He likes his swing now. He would just cry around 5 weeks old when we put him in it, but now if he's tired, but we want to put bed time a little farther out, he'll swing happily for a 1/2 hour or so. It calms him when he's fussy but he won't fall asleep in it.
We love our little boy! He's growing and growing and we are enjoying every minute (well, almost every minute!).
