I'd like to think that my life has meaning...in fact, I know it does. I've had moments of happiness, sadness, joy, frustration, disappointment, and possibly most important, moments of learning. I have days that are mundane and seemingly unimportant but I also have days that are life altering. My hope in writing this blog is to capture those days....of both kinds because through reflection and the recording of those experiences, they can become meaningful and enriching, for myself and possibly for others. So even though the definition of a soliloquy, which is part of my blog title, is an utterance or discourse by a person who is talking to him/herself or is disregardful of an audience (http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/soliloquy), I do hope this blog will be meaningful to others. I believe that everyday life is what makes up eternity and if we can't find the meaning in everyday life, then how are we going to find the meaning of eternity? Life is what you make it and every day is a decision, a decision and choice as to whether or not we will make that day count for something. Most of the time happiness is a frame of mind, not a matter of circumstances.
All in all, this blog on a day to day basis may just be full of my shenanigans and tom foolery but that is what makes my life my life and its what makes up my eternity. Enjoy!

Wow, I didn't know my sister could talk like that. I guess she did graduate from college and all, but soliloquy. Good thing you put the definition in there for you less educated brother. Welcome to the world of blogging!
I didn't know about talk like that either. I'm glad you are going to do a blog. I love to read about my children and grandchildren on blogs. It kind of keeps me "with it". Happy blogging!
